Who is Alicia Genell?
When sitting back and thinking of how to describe “who I am”, the following sentence comes to mind: I’m a dreamer, a doer, a lover, a fighter, a hopeless romantic and a genuine spirit. And I can honestly say that these are all facts. 😊
I’m a woman that has realized she is many things and that I don’t have to live in a box. I’ve grown to accept that my voice is important and what I have to offer matters. I’ve come to a place where I understand that what I allow will continue and that I’m responsible for my own happiness. I’m an ever-changing, ever-realizing, high-performer that sometimes questions herself and where she’s going. I’m a daughter, a granddaughter, a sister, a niece, a cousin, a best friend, a professor, a communications professional, and more. Also, I’m a woman that knows that she is everything, but I’m human enough to admit that sometimes I don’t feel like enough.
That’s why I’m here and why I created Remember This Sis (RTS). I believe that sometimes we all need a reminder. RTS is for you, me, and everybody in between that is looking for a place to be inspired, encouraged, and to just BE.
